What an amazing group of toys from 1962!  I see several of my favorites from childhood such as the Fisher Price corn popper, talking telephone, school bus and musical tick-tock clock.  My tricycle and portable phonograph are also in this Sears Christmas catalog .  Do you see a familiar toy ?

  1. No, but I guess the Fred Flintstone Pedal Car will come back into fashion when the fuel prices rise further, and I wouldn’t mind owning a phonograph and a tape recorder.

Thanks for sharing! My sisters and I used to pour over the Sears catalogue and dream of getting toys like these. Notice, in the costume section, the Yankee and Rebel uniforms? Loved that!

You’re welcome! My siblings and I also spent hours looking at the Sears & Penney’s Christmas catalogs. I did notice the Yankee & Rebel costumes – too funny! Thanks for stopping by.
