Thanks so much for posting all these great pics from one of my all-time favorite catalogs. My dad was the manager of the toy department at Sears during the 1960′s. I wore the catalog out dreaming of Christmas morning.
Thanks for stopping by Dede. In the early 1970s my siblings and I wore out the Sears Wishbook catalog and the Penneys toy catalog before Christmas arrived. We always looked forward to the new catalog every fall. How fun that your dad managed the Sears toy dept. I’m sure you have fond memories related of your dad working there. My grandmother worked in the ladies clothing dept. at Sears in the 1970s and early 1980s. We always enjoyed going by to see her when we were shopping at the mall.
