Sarah Kaplan was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Medical Corps.  She served as a nurse under General Patton in the Battle of the Bulge.

On this Veterans Day, I’m very grateful to the men and women who have served our nation.  Freedom isn’t free and comes at a great price.   Your service and sacrifice to our country is appreciated.  You are truly American heroes!
