 Highclere Castle

The highly anticipated third season of Downton Abbey has finally arrived here in the States.  We’ve had to endure an entire year between the second and third seasons; it was a very long wait!

Downton Abbey with its period costumes and accessories, lovely furnishings and the beautiful surroundings at Highclere Castle is truly a feast for the eyes.  Not to mention the cast, especially Dan Stevens (Matthew Crawley) and Brendan Coyle (John Bates)!

The third season of Downton Abbey begins in 1920 and my focus this week is the fashions and styles of the dramatic and daring 1920s.
